Convenient and Equitable Composting in RVA

  • A sliding scale is used to offer services at varying price options to adjust for the needs or income of individuals. The service itself is the same across the scale. As a subscriber, you can opt to pay a higher monthly rate if you can afford it, or you can select a lower price that’s made available because of the sliding scale. Choosing a higher tier means we can offer lower prices and gives us the resources we need to make Enrich a sustainable service in our beautiful home of Richmond.

  • Enrich Compost wants to be inclusive and accessible for folks. Our mission is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and landfill waste by offering a convenient pickup service but if that service isn’t affordable, it doesn’t help the environment or the community of Richmond. We believe in mutual aid and are trying to be a business that does a lot more good than harm in the current capitalistic structure. We are open for discussion and feedback always. If you are unable to pay the supported tier but would like to subscribe, please reach out to us via email so we can work something out.

  • We have 3 Tiers for paying. Below are some guidelines to give thought to when signing up, however sliding scale tiers are up to your discretion to choose when signing up. It is also editable if your situation changes.
